Access Training Courses

We offer a range of Access training courses across our training centres in London, including:

If any of the above venues don't suit you or you are based outside of London, then we can arrange an on-site training event held at your offices anywhere across the UK, or if your offices do not have a suitable training area, then we are happy to train you at a location of your choice.

We run our Access training courses at four levels - introduction, intermediate, advanced and VBA. Please read on for a brief description of what is covered in each of our Access training courses.

Introduction Access Training

Our introduction Access training course is aimed at the complete beginner, so this course is for people who have never used Access before, or have had a little experience in using Access. At the end of this introduction Access training course you will have a firm grasp of the basics of Access and databases. You will be able to design and create a database from scratch and you will have a practical understanding of tables, forms, reports and simple queries.

Intermediate Access Training

Our intermediate course is suitable for those that have already taken our introduction course or if you have a fairly basic working knowledge of Access. During the course you will learn how to use the slightly more advanced features of Access that you may not have encountered before. You will then move on and learn about the more complex queries, forms and reports. Finally you will tackle PivotTables and PivotCharts.

If you wish to further your knowledge of Microsoft Access after taking the intermediate Access training you could move on and attend the advanced Access training course.

Advanced Access Training

Our advanced Access training course is suitable for anyone who has previously taken our intermediate course or for those with a solid working knowledge of Access who wish to progress to learn the most complicated features.

Once you have completed the course you will have learnt to automate functions using both simple and complex macros, you will have again improved your knowledge of queries and acquired practical experience of working with SQL statements. You will also have gained a knowledge of how to work with objects and the principals of database management.

MOS certifications

Gain Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification from our Microsoft authorised testing centres. The MOS certification is the only credential of its kind approved by Microsoft and demonstrates end-user proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

The MOS certificate illustrates a measurement of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Successful qualified candidates gain the recognition for having advanced desktop Office skills. Professionals and students will then be able to confirm their expertise in the Microsoft Office suite.
