What is VBA?
Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) is part of the Microsoft Visual Basic product family. The Visual Basic programming language has a set of powerful tools that allow developers to build their own applications. VBA contains a subset of these same powerful tools, that allow developers or users to extend the application they are already working with, in this case Microsoft Access.
Access VBA
VBA is built into Microsoft Access, along with the other Microsoft Office applications. This means that you can use Access VBA to develop and customise Access to suit your needs or the needs of your team. This will enable you to remove some of the manual processes that are part of your job or part of the jobs of many Access users within your organisation. In short if utilised correctly Access VBA can save both time and money.
