Who is this training course suitable for?

Those who need to create and maintain websites who are competent users of Microsoft Office applications.

Prerequisites

The ability to navigate using Windows is required, or our Microsoft Windows Introduction course. No experience of MS FrontPage is required.

Benefits

On completion of this course the delegate will be able to create a web site from new. They will be able to add graphical content to their pages, include and design with tables and they will know how to use create links from either text or graphics. They will learn how to use FrontPage to create excellent and user-friendly layouts and site maps and to do so using Navigation View. Finally they will use FrontPage to troubleshoot and to publish the site on the web.

When they have completed the course they will be prepared to attend the FrontPage Intermediate course.

What is Microsoft FrontPage?

Microsoft FrontPage: a popular WYSIWYG (What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get) HTML editor and web site administration tool from Microsoft. Please note that Microsoft has now launched Expression Web, which supersedes Frontpage. "FrontPage Editor" is the graphical editor for designing the pages. "FrontPage Explorer" is the management tool that lets you construct and maintain the entire site. It also includes WebBots, which generate code for complex functions such as searching and password protection.
