Dear Drupesh

Thank you for attending Excel Advanced Course.

In order to run a macro when you open an existing file you’ll require more knowledge of VBA.

I’ll pass on this query to another trainer with more experience of VBA who may be able to help you.

I hope that you are aware that a macro can be assigned to a button which you can simply press when ever you want to run that macro.

Tip: A macro can be assigned to any picture that you insert or any Auto shapes that you create from the drawing toolbar. You simply have to right-click on it and choose assign macro and select the macro that you want to assign to that object.

If this has answered your query then I would request you to please mark the question as resolved!! If not and you have a specific question related to this then please post it as a new question and we should be able to answer that!!

Kindest Regards

Rajeev Rawat
MOS Master Instructor 2000 and 2003
