Filtering Data
Paula has attended:
I am working a lot with percentages and names which may appear more than once and i am trying to filter out the names to create a spreadsheet. How do i go about this?
RE: Filtering Data
try data > filter > auto filter... RE: Filtering Data
Hi Paula,
2. On the original file, select DATA menu > Filter > Advanced Filter 3. Under ACTION: select Copy to another location 4. Click in the "List Range" box, select the full Name list 5. Click in the "Copy To" box, click on a cell of an empty column 6. Click on the checkbox "Unique Records Only" 7. Press OK 8. You should see a list of unique names from your table copied to this empty column 9. Highlight the selection, cut & paste them to your name file Hope this helps.
