Would any data be compromised if the excel version used to link to an access database was a later version (eg Excel 2007 linking to Access 2003) ?

Hi Alexis, Thank you for your post, In answer to your question I cannot see any reason for the data to be compromised as Excel can accept input data from a wide range of input data sources, using the Data - Import External Data operation will show you. I hope that helps best regards Pete
