Hi Aubrey

Visual Basic is a full programming language from Microsoft and is part of the Visual Studio suite. VBA is a small subset of VB. VBA can be programmed in the VBA editor within each MS Office application. For VB you will need either the VB or Visual studio software.

Closing all your workbooks Quickly

Hold the SHIFT key down and using the mouse click on the file menu, it will now now CLOSE ALL rather than close. This closes all workbooks down but still leaves the application open.
