Hi,

I currently have one master slide for page one, and pages 2 onwards are using a different template.

Please let me know how I can set up the following:

page 1 master slide using template
page 2 a different master slide using a template
page 3 onwards the standard master with page numbers starting from this page (ie showing page 1 from the 3rd page)

Kind regards,
Norah.

Hello Norah,
I hope you enjoyed your PowerPoint training session with us.

In response to your question, if you have all the slides to your presentation, and you have the different slide designs (templates) you want to use, you can manually assign which template should go to which slides. The easiest thing is to first assign the template that will be used on the majority of the slides. Then make sure your slide view is showing on the left side of the application. Right-click on the slide(s) that will have a different slide design and choose the slide design option. On the right side, find the template that you want to use, hover over it until the small black triangle appears, and click on the triangle to choose "Apply to selected slides." Once you have the mulitple slide designs assigned, you can edit the masters in the View > Master > Slide Master menu option.

I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved. If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. And please feel free to ask any other questions you may have.

Have a great day.

Regards,
Mara

Step 3: Select Tools > Protection > Protect Sheet

(Ensure "Protect worksheet and contents of locked cells" is ticked)
