Can you import information in different formats other than excel and access tables?

RE: Importing Information

Hi Shelley

As long as the data being imported is in a table form Access will have no problems with it.

Access uses ODBC which can connect it to any database.

You can also import from Outlook (Contacts data), Lotus, Paradox, Text files, HTML and DBASE

Hope this helps

Carlos

Access tip:

Display current date & time in column of any width

The worksheet function =NOW() returns the current date & time. When entered into a column which is not wide enough to display the value NOW returns, the cell displays ###
