How can I deactivate the clipboard eg: if I copy and paste alot it always appears even when I x out of it?

On the Clipboard task pane click Options. Clear the Show Office Clipboard Automatically check box. To copy items to the Clipboard while it is turned off, select the Collect Without Showing Office Clipboard check box.
