if there is a large document and there is an error with a formula, how do you know where the problem is and which formula is the wrong one...

Hi Anila

Hope you are well, as for your question about tracing errors, you may remember from the course yesterday, when an error comes up with a formula one of two things happen either you will get an error message, or your will see something the word value in the cell when you press enter

How to find out where the error is, is by getting the formula auditing toolbar, and when you have this click the trace errors button

Excel tip:

Deleting a range of cells using the autofill handle

Firstly, select the range of cells for which you would like to clear the contents. Then drag the autofill handle to the the top left corner of the selection whilst holding down the shift key. Your selected contents should then be deleted.
