When using Goal Seek.If you change the number x(see below).The total number changes even though I set a Goal seek to find 20

I set a goal seek to find 20 but if I change the x t0 11 the total changes to 21.

Does this mean that you can only use a Goal Seek once?

Hi Daniel,

Thank you for your question.
Goal Seek is only set on a formula. You can use it as many times as you need. In your scenario, if the cells are set as following:
A1: 10
A2: x
A3: A1+A2

Then the goal seek setting will be:
Set cell: A3
To value: 20
By changing cell: A2

If you press OK, the computer will set the new value of A2 is 10. If you press Cancel, the computer will change the numbers back to original.
