Password protection in Access

Is it possible to password protect a specific table (i.e. that contains personal information) in an otherwise freely accessible database? If so, how?

RE: Password protection in Access

Hi Kate, Thank you for the post, sorry been off for a while. In answer to your question, you should follow the Access Database Security Wizard instructions, only applying the restrictions to the table in question, I have researched quite extensively and cannot find a way to only restrict a single table, so sorry on that one; hope that helps; best regards Pete.

Access tip:

Remove spaces in a table

If you have a table that has too many space marks littered around, you can create a update query and use the trim function to get rid of any excess space marks
