Hi Jacob

thank you for coming on the course hope you enjoyed things

Now the answer to your question is as follows, you can do this by using a fill command which will help you out. To do this make sure you have the cell you want to copy down or accross, then move to the bottom right hand corner of the cell where the black box is, then click and drag to fill the formula down

Excel tip:

Counting Non Number Cells (Text)

If you try to use the COUNT FUNCTION =COUNT(Cell range)with a range of cells with numbers and or containing text fields you wil find that that the text cells will be excluded from the the count. If you want to include them try the the COUNTA FUNCTION =COUNTA(Cell range). This counts both text and number cell values.
