Hi,

I lost the sliding bar at the bottom of the spreadsheet which allows you to slide to the next columns (or through the spreadsheet horizontally).

How do I get that bar back?

Many thanks

Lia

Hi Lia, Thank you for your post, In answer to your problem, it sounds as though your horizontal scroll bar has been switched off, if this is the case; go to the menu command Tools and choose Options, in the View tab at the bottom of the dialog box you will see a tick box for the Horizontal Scroll Bar, ensure this has a tick and click OK, you should see the return of your Scroll bar. I hope that helped, best regards Pete.

Excel tip:

Pivot table grouping

If you want to group items in a pivot table together, simply highlight the labels for the fields either with the shift key (if adjacent)or with the contral key if they are not next to each other.
Right click and choose group. Give the cell a name.

When you double click on this cell it will either expamd or collapse your grouped area
