Hi Katerina

I am sorry we haven't got back to you soon, and hope you enjoyed the course on the 11th

To save a template there are two ways of looking at it

1. As a template you are using, for this go the file and save then give your file a name and choose a location the click save

2. If this is a file you want to save as a template, then after you have created the file go to the save place for saving i.e. file and save

2A. When you are in the save as window, from the save as type drop down list choose excel template, then give it a name and click save

3. To then usethis template go to file and new then from task pane on the right of your screen click on my computer

3A. go to the general tab and double click your template

Excel tip:

Turn off AutoComplete in Excel

You may have noticed when typing into your spreadsheets that if you start to enter labels that begin with the same letters as a label that has been previously entered in the same spreadsheet, Excel will try and automatically complete the text for you. This feature is called AutoComplete.

If you find this feature more annoying than useful, you can turn it off by:

1. Going to Tools - Options.

2. Select the Edit tab.

3. Remove the tick from next to the "Enable AutoComplete for cell values" option.

4. Click OK.
