Hi Loreen

Hope you enjoyed your course on tuesday

In relation to your question you can protect your worksheet very easily, but you should consider a few things first these are my recommendations

if you want to let people work in this sheet if so you will need to unlock the cells your want people to work in before you protect, if you want to have preformatted cells for users you will need to do both of these before you protect

To protect your worksheet do as follows go to the tools menu
then protection and click protect worksheet make sure you choose from the list what you want users to do if you dont do this poeple wont be able to do anything MAKE SURE you add a password to stop people unprotecting the sheet

Excel tip:

Create a unique items table from a duplicating table

1. Ensure that your list has column headings
2. Select the entire list
3. From the menu bar, select DATA, FILTER, ADVANCED FILTER
4. Select "Filter the list, in place", and tick the "Unique Records Only" box
5. Click OK, filtered list appears.
