Hi,

I attended a word course on Friday and one of the toolbars had a button on it to insert a table whereby you simply clicked on the button and you could highlight how many rows and columns you wanted to insert and it would come up straight away. I have found the button, or what looks to be the button except when I click on it I have to type in the number of rows and columns rather than just dragging my mouse over the boxes. Can I change this?

Thanks for your question.

The button you are referring to is on the standard toolbar, normally to the right of the table button with the Excel symbol on top of it - it will say Insert Table when you hold your mouse over it.
