Hi Janet,

Yes select the cells you want and then either type the name into the "Name Box" or go to Insert / Name / Define. Any problems let us know.

Excel tip:

Validating text entries

1. Select the range of cells.
2. From the Data menu, select Validation.
3. Select the Settings tab.
4. From the Allow dropdown list, select Custom.
5. In the Formula box, enter the following formula:
=IsText (A1)
where A1 is the first cell in the range.
6. Click OK.

I've realised that the Reference Manual included on the CD is for the Project 2003 version. However, I took the 2007 course. Do I have the right CD? Is there a 2007 Manual?
