Hi Susan, Thank you for your post, welcome to the forum, in answer to your question, to freeze panes in a worksheet consider the location of the active cell, when you freeze a pane; you lock the cells to the left of and above this cell. To freeze the area required, select the cell as per above, then go to the menu command Window> Freeze Panes, you can now scroll left and right and up and down in your worksheet with the selected area always in view. To remove the Freeze go to the command Window> Un Freeze panes.
Take a moment to try the other option which is Split this allows you to view different areas of the worksheet at the same time. I hope that helps, best regards Pete.

If you have used the split panes feature in your worksheet, use the following keyboard shortcut keys to move quickly and effortlessly between paned sections:

F6 - Move to the next pane
Shift + F6 - Move to the previous pane
