How do you fix a damaged spry tabbed panel?

For upcoming training course dates see: Pricing & availability

RE: Spry

Hi Liam,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I've just received this post from Katie as she is swamped.

I've not heard of that before. I actually managed to figure out Dreamweaver's spry code and developed my own PHP output of a table, and that involved editing the code.

Do you know how it got damaged?

Have you got a URL of where the damaged code is?

With this information I may be able to help in more detail.

Spry uses CSS and JS files, so it may even be quicker to start from scratch rather than fix, although I realise this may be time consuming.

Regards, Rich

RE: Spry

Spry's are so hard, they keep breaking, the code is so easy to get at, but see what I have done with spry on my promotional products site www.argonpromo.co.uk , any comments welcome.

RE: Spry

Hi Liam,

I can't actually see where Spry is used on that site?

Dreamweaver tip:

JumpMenu in new window

When inserting a jumpmenu to a page, the only option available for 'open in' is usually 'main window'. There would be other options available if the page was a frameset.

To change the jumpmenu to open in a new window, change the target parameter of the selectbox in your code to 'window.open()'.

eg.
<select name="menu1" onChange="MM_jumpMenu('window.open()',this,0)">
