Scott has attended:
Word Intermediate course

Document formating

Sometimes when pasting in large amounts of text into a document the formating goes funny. Is this a problem with Word or the settings?

RE: Document formating

Hi Scott, Thank you for the post, I hope you enjoyed your course, welcome to the forum, to answer your question, this sometimes happens and can be a bit annoying, however Word should pop up a little SmartTag for AutoCorrect Options (lightning strike) when you paste the text, click this button and turn options to retain or not the formatting of pasted text.
You can also go to the Tools Menu and choose Autocorrect Options, and then click the AutoFormat as you type tab, Select or clear options as required.
Give that a try, best regards Pete
