What is the best way of formatting gantt charts so that they look appealing and also make it easy to pull out the information required. Those I have seen previously are too detailed, it is difficult to match the bars to the tasks and the rows are far too narrow.

Thank you for your question. RIGHTCLICK on the bar you wish to change and select FORMAT, select the colour and shape you wish to implement.

RIGHT CLICKOn the blank area of the GANNT Chart, select gridlines, and choose the type and/or colour you want.
