Headers and footers

How do we put images in to a headers and footers?
RE: Headers and footers
Hi Deborah, Thank you for your post, welcome to the forum, in answer to your question, placing an image into your header or footer can be accomplished following these steps; in Microsoft Word, go to the menu command: View>Headers and Footers. In the Headers and Footers view locate the toolbar, on the H & F toolbar find the Show/Hide Document Text button, when the text is no longer visible, import your chosen graphic/picture/clip art. Size the graphic to your chosen size, then right click on the graphic, and choose the option Format Picture/Graphic, from the dialog box, choose the layout tab and make your choice, if you want the graphic behind your text choose that option, if you want to place it at the top or bottom of your page and not have the document text flow across it choose either Square or Tight. Resize your graphic/picture and place it where you want it to be, Close the H & F view by clicking Close on the toolbar, your text will re-appear and your graphic will show (faded) in the position chosen. Note it does not print faded. I hope that helps, best regards Pete.
