Hi Katrina,

I hope you enjoyed your Word training. Thank you for your question.

Once you have inserted a picture or Word Art in Word it is best to change the layout to either tight or square, which then makes it much easier to manipulate.

To do this click on the item in question so that it is highlighted. You then have two options.
• On the Picture toolbar (which should automatically appear), click on the 11th item along – Text Wrapping. Then choose the 2nd or 3rd option down, and the border around your object will change. You can now drag the item to anywhere within the document.
• Go to Format>>Picture (or right click and choose Format Picture). Under the Layout tab at the top, choose either Square or Tight and the border around your object will change. You can now drag the item anywhere in your document.
