How can I use images in Access?

Hi Laura, Welcome to the forum, Thank you for your post, in answer to your question; there are a number of different types of image formats used in Access. These are found on the Toolbox which is available in Form or Report Design views.
1. Simple Image; click on the Image button and draw a shape on the Form/Report in design view, the Insert Picture dialog box will open to allow you to navigate and find the image you wish to appear on every record.
2. Unbound Image; click on the Unbound Image button and draw a shape, the Import Object dialog box will open which will allow you to choose from a number of different objects and to place this object (graphic included) on your Form or Report.
3. Bound Object, this option allows you to link a particular graphic with a particular record. Relationships and fields must be created before this will operate. In the case of graphics only certain types are recognised, .bmp files are the most common to use. However these will cause Access to "Bloat" in size quite considerably.
