RE: cut and pasting charts

Hi Simon, Thank you for the post, To answer your question, the easiest way to move a chart to another location, in your workbook, (another sheet), into another program such as Word or PowerPoint; Open Excel and the Worksheet containing the chart;
To move the chart to another worksheet/workbook/program; Click in the Chart Area (you will see the resize/selected item markers appear) go to Menu command Edit>Cut or Copy, OR (CTRL+X or CTRL+C) navigate to the receiving sheet or open the receiving workbook or Program (Word or PowerPoint), click where you wish the chart to appear and press Edit>Paste OR (CTRL+V). This will create a graphic representation of the chart (a picture of it). You can then resize/reposition it. I hope that helps, if so please click the Resolved link, Best regards Pete

Excel tip:

Change the Value of a Constant

When using a named constant in a worksheet, you may wish to change the value of that constant.

From the 'Insert' menu, select 'Name', then select 'Define'.

In the 'Define Name' dialog box, select the constant that you want to change.
Change the value in the 'Refers To' box.
Click OK.

Wherever that named constant has been used it will now use its new value.
