Indenting a table of contents
How do I indent a table of contents without messing up the table? When I use the increase indent button, each line goes over to two lines, even though there is space for an indent. For upcoming training course dates see: Pricing & availability
RE: Indenting a table of contents
Hi Marie,Thanks for your question, in reply; I have found that if you wish to indent the table of contents; a quick way is to select the entire TOC, have a look on the top ruler, if open (view, ruler if not) and drag the move both button, (the little square under the up facing triangle) to move all levels and their text together, this will allow you to indent the TOC to the position of your choice.
Note: This is the same method of operation that can be used for individual paragraph indentation.
Hope this helps.
