Pretty much, simply go to File>Get External Data> and choose the file you want to import. You go through a wizard (a series of boxes). Obviously MS Powerpoint isn't something that holds the type of information that you would normally want to import so just keep that in mind

Open the Access database or Access project that you want Access to compact automatically.
On the Tools menu, click Options.
Click the General tab.
Select the Compact on Close check box.
