Dear Faye

Thank you for attending Access Intro training. I hope you enjoyed the training.

I am not sure if you want the attendance certificate or the MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist) information!!

I can request for the Attendance certificate on your behalf. If you want more info on MOS then please let me know and I can pass on the query to the relevant dept.

Many thanks

Kindest Regards

Rajeev Rawat
MOS Master Instructor 2000/2003

Thank you Rajeev

I thought the course was great. The introduction was good for seeing what Access was about, but the intermediate, well, that showed me that there was so much that could be done, and all i have is lots and lots of questions. Im just waiting for the program to be installed, and then its playtime

Could you please arrange a attendance certificate for me

Thanks

Faye

Dear Faye

Thank you for your response.

I will pass on the message to the relevant dept. to send you the attendance certificate!!

It's good that you have lots of questions. Please feel free to post as many questions as possible and I am sure one of our Trainers will be able to answer them as long as they are not too complicated. It may be a possibility that some questions may be more suitable for consultancy which I am sure the trainer will be able to notify you in due course.

I assume that you want the attendance certificate for both the courses!!

Kindest Reagrds

Access tip:

Run with the total

Often when creating reports with lists of transactions it can be useful to have a column which totals the transactions as the report progresses.

Using the Sum function gives the total for the whole group, not a running total.

Access provides an easy method of achieving a running total.

Click on the text box containing the data you wish to contain the running total.
Select the Data tab
Click in the Running sum option
Click the down arrow to view three options
Ø No

§ This Item is not a running total

Ø Over Group

§ This Item is a running total which will reset to zero with each new group value

Ø Over All

§ This Item is a running total which will total over the whole report
