Hi

Does Office 2007 (mainly Excel) have the default colour scheme used in Office XP? (2002). The colours under the default "Office" theme do match the colours in my spreadsheets.

Thanks
Graham

Hi Graham,

Thank you for your question.

In office 2007, you can create a new color theme. Change each of the 6 accents colours to the ones used in XP2002 and save it as "Classic". you can customise the colours by putting the following numbers:

e.g.
Accent 1: Red 153, Green 153, Blue 255
Accent 2: Red 153, Green 51, Blue 102
Accent 3: Red 255, Green 255, Blue 153
Accent 4: Red 204, Green 255, Blue 255
Accent 5: Red 102, Green 0, Blue 102
Accent 6: Red 255, Green 124, Blue 128

When you saved a colour scheme, it can be used throughout the entire office suite: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel.

See if this helps

Kind regards,

Katie (Microsoft Certified Trainer)

Hi Katie

Thanks for replying :). I only used the bottom 8 colours from the "standard colours" anyway so it shouldn't take to long to convert. Shame Microsoft didn't add this colour theme to Office 2007.
