Max Fields (Columns) = 255
Max Records = none specified. This is limited by the size of the whole database and the storage capacity available.

Hi Lisa

Thanks for your question. An Access 2003 table can hold up to 255 fields (or columns) and Access can handle up to 2048 open tables. If your database is on this scale however you would probably be better looking at moving up to a more powerful database solution like Microsoft SQL.
