We have a 2003 access database and we are upgrading the office to all the Office 2007 products. There seem to be some aspects of the 2003 database that when opened in Access 2007 do not seem to work properly. Is there anything we should be doing to the 2003 database before we open from Access 2007?

Hi Craig,
Thank you for your post, sorry its taken a while to respond. To my knowledge if you open a 2003 database in 2007 you will see the Database Enhancement dialog box which allows you to choose to open the database and change it to 2007 or to refuse the Enhancement option which will not upgrade the database and deny you the opportunity to change any design features of the database, as this must be undertaken in the original/previous version.
I have enhanced a number of my databases and have not noticed any particular areas where there is an incompatibality issue, if this is the case where you are concerned please come back with more specifics and I will see if it is possible to assist you.
