when spliting a database can the front section and back section be saved in the same location

Hi Andrew

Yes The front end and back ends can be placed in the same location specially if you are using your own computer as a server.

In this case the front end would be used just by you, with all the others accessing the back end using their own copy of the front end.

Splitting the database also allows you to customise each users front end to their needs and remove forms and reports they aren't allowed to use
