One thing you could do is go to the standard File Save As when you are in the worksheet. Then in the standard window where you are going to save you file there is a Tools button on the top right hand side. Click on that and go to the General options. From there you can set a password to oprn or modify.

Hiding and unhiding rows using the keyboard

CTRL + 9 hides your columns and CTRL + SHIFT + ( unhides them although you would need to highlight the row letters either side as per normal
