Hi Penny.
You can, in dreamweaver, using such methods as timelines and layers (changing the image source at certain time points).
However, I would recommend you use Adobe Flash movies or animated GIF images instead, as these are much easier to implement and are widely supported in most browsers. They also give you much more flexibility and more control over your animation.
