How do you change the coclur of a cell if a statement is true/false
eg. Answer=No then cell=red
=yes then cell=green

Hi Rebecca

Thank you for your question; and welcome to the forum.

You can get Excel to apply formatting based on what is contained within a cell by using Conditional Formatting.

This is found under the Format menu - Format/Conditional Formatting.

If you wish to set more than one criteria for the cells you have selected, then click the Add button once you have put your first criteria in place.

You can have up to 3 different criteria for the same group of cells.

Hold the SHIFT key down and using the mouse click on the file menu, it will now now CLOSE ALL rather than close. This closes all workbooks down but still leaves the application open.
