Hi Jenna,

Thank you for question.

To show the dependencies, you need to go to Tools - Formula Auditing - Show the formula auditing toolbar.

If you then select a cell that contains a formula, click on the second button on the toolbar which is Trace precedents. This will show you the cells that are used in the formula.

The second option is useful if you have something like an interest rate that is used in formulas throughout your spreadsheet. Select the cell that contains the interest rate and click on the fourth button on the toolbar Trace dependents. This will then show you all the cells that are dependent(cells that will change) upon the interest rate changing.

Create a unique items table from a duplicating table

1. Ensure that your list has column headings
2. Select the entire list
3. From the menu bar, select DATA, FILTER, ADVANCED FILTER
4. Select "Filter the list, in place", and tick the "Unique Records Only" box
5. Click OK, filtered list appears.
