Project 2007 predecessors

Hi

For some reason, when I know change a predecessor on my project, it does not update any other fields.

Therefore, if I change durations etc on my plan, no other items are effected.

It seems fine in new workbooks, just my existing workbook which was okay until midway through today.

Any suggestions please?
Thanks
Emma

RE: Project 2007 predecessors

Hi Emma

Thank you for your question

The first thing to check is whether your system is set for manual or automatic calculation.

Go to Tools-Options and select the calculation tab. At the top check to see if calculation is set to automatic or manual. If the latter, then this will explain your problem, as you have to click the "Calculate Now" button to update the consequences of any changes. If this is the case, setting the option back to automatic will resolve the issue.

If this is not the case, please let me know so I can look at other options

Regards

Stephen

RE: Project 2007 predecessors

Thanks Stephen. I've sorted this out now - I had a circular reference in my predecessors
