Macros in Access are built step by step rather than like a video recording in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Each step is programmed into the macro, like lines of code.
There are 3 main parts to each line of code.

The ACTION, ARGUMENTS and COMMENTS

ACTIONS define what you want to do to a specific object
ie. OPEN (a form)

ARGUMENTS specify which object you want the action done to.
ie open TABLE

COMMENTS allow you to describe the step you are taking in english, so you can refer back to what you have created.

Remove spaces in a table

If you have a table that has too many space marks littered around, you can create a update query and use the trim function to get rid of any excess space marks
