If i open the editor in excel, do what I need to do in and close it. Then go ctrl + alt + delete to lock my pc, when I come back and unlock it, it automatically opens the VBA editor. If I havent opened the editor that day, this doesnt happen. This happens on more than my standard PC. any ideas ?

I checked on 2 PC's here and got the same results as you.
I also checked with some colleagues and they had never seen that happen before.
