RE: shapes

Morning Rebecca,

Snap to grid is turned on by default, but if you want it turned off or you want to check to see if it is on, then you need to do the following.

The long way is to go to the Home tab and go to the Drawing group, then click Arrange, go down to Align, then click Grid Settings. A box will appear with snap to grid turned on.

The quick way is to right-click on an empty area of the slide (not a placeholder) or the margin around the slide, and then click grid and guides. This will give you the same snap to grid box.

To flip a shape just click on the shape, hover over the green circle at the top of the shape and holding your left mouse button down move it to where you want.

Hope that helps
Regards
Martin

RE: shapes

Hi Rebecca,

You can use the 'Draw' toolbar (at the bottom of the powerpoint screen).

Select the arrow, then press 'Draw' -> Rotate of Flip -> Flip (Horizontal or Vertical).

See attached screenshot.

Regards, Rich
