I share a spreadsheet with someone over seas who is forever changing figures on my side of our intercomapny, i have forgotten how to go about reviewing all the changes made to the sheet when i recieve it back rathe than re-reconcille the whole thing!!

PLease help!

Hi Dianne,

Thank you for yor question.

To track changes on Excel 2003, you will need to switch on the feature on TOOLS menu > Track Changes > Highlight Changes.

In the Highlight Changes window, you may choose to review a particular user's changes then on the spreadsheet you can choose to accept / reject each individual changes.

All changed cells are highlight with a dark blue tag.

Excel tip:

Selecting constant values only

If periodically you need to change all your values back to zero, but leave formulas, text and blank cells as they are select the entire worksheet, choose F5 function key, Special and then Constants and choose the appropriate sub-selections. To enter zero in all the selected cells type 0 and then press Ctrl+Enter.
