Hello Jean,

Thank you for your post and welcome to the forum, in answer to your question,

To move text from one part of your document to another, or from one page to another you can use the Cut, or Move tool, this is accessed from the Standard Toolbar button (scissors) or from the Edit Menu (Edit>Cut), there is also a keyboard combination which will Cut the selected text, CTRL+X,

Once you have Cut the selected text you can then navigate to the location (page, document) and place your cursor at the position you wish to place the text and then click the Paste button on the Standard Toolbar (clipboard), from theEdit Menu (Edit>Paste) or use the keyboard combination CTRL+V.

The selected and Cut text will remain on the clipboard until you either Copy or Cut another selection. Note: Using the Office Clipboard (CTRL and click C twice) will allow you to save up to 24 items on the clipboad which can be pasted where and when you like.

I hope that has helped, if so please click the resolved link, regards Pete

Word tip:

Move your cursor quickly to your last editing position

If you open an existing document in MS Word, the flashing cursor (insertion point) is automatically appears at the start of the text on the first page.

This can be frustrating when working on a long document with many pages.
Instead of having to scroll through the document to the location where you were last typing and clicking to move the flashing cursor, wouldn't it be great to get Word to pick up right where you left off?

The good news is, you can! Immediately after you open the document, hold down the Shift key and tap the F5 key.

Word will move the flashing cursor to the exact point where you left off last time you saved and closed the document - whether it was at the end of the document or some point in the middle.
