why do watermarks sometimes print with characters missing but look ok on print view?

Hi Jayne

Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.

There could be a number of reasons why this is happening. Two that spring to mind are:

1. Is there a problem with the printer? If you try printing a page with the watermark on a different printer does it come out ok or not?

2. It might be to do with the number of characters in the watermarks - ones with more characters (i.e. longer words) might not print out as you expect, whereas watermarks with fewer characters may come out ok.

Word tip:

Table Headers on Subsequent Pages

To make sure that your tables if they carry on to subsequent pages have a Table header on each page.
Select the rows at the top of the table which you would like to repeat on subsequent pages, select Table, Heading Rows Repeat. Note this does not work if you insert a hard page break (CTRL+Enter)
