more abouy formatting

Thanks for the post, the best thing to do when formatting is to make sure you highlight the cells you wish to format, then go through the format ribbon and click the little options button of the number group which is at the bottom righthand corner of the group

This will take you to the formatting dialog box and then go through the tabs and see hope you get on
