I am using VBA to send automatic emails to a list of clients however I need to open the workbook and run this macro only if the corresponding date allocated to these clients has already passed depending on what day the workbook has been opened.
For example I open the workbook and it is 01/07/08 and I have joe bloggs with 30/06/08 next to him so he needs the macro allocated to him, but jane bloggs has 03/07/08 next to her.
How do I choose who should be sent these emails by putting them into a list?

Excel tip:

Change the Value of a Constant

When using a named constant in a worksheet, you may wish to change the value of that constant.

From the 'Insert' menu, select 'Name', then select 'Define'.

In the 'Define Name' dialog box, select the constant that you want to change.
Change the value in the 'Refers To' box.
Click OK.

Wherever that named constant has been used it will now use its new value.
