will probably need help with linking the databases to enable being able to pull off in excel spreadsheet, and entering new information as I would like to set up as a database anyone can use or update when necessary

Thank you for attending Access and Word Courses. I hope you enjoyed the courses and are finding the topics covered during the training useful.

I believe in the training course we learnt how to link tables from one database to another. But you can easily link Excel workbook instead of a access table.

It would be a good way to get information from people who might not be confident in using Access. The good thing is that once you link the Excel file to Access you can make changes in Excel or Access and the data will always ib up-to-date in both applications.

All you have to do is following:

Step 1: On tables object choose New Button.
Step 2: Choose Link table and then press OK
Step 3: Choose the MS Excel from the File of types drop down list and also select the location of the file.
Step 4: when the wizard appears select the appropriate options and press finish.

Change case

To change case from upper or lower case, highlight the text area, hold down the Shift key and pres F3
