OR Query

How do you construct a multiple 'OR' Query? Do you include on the same line as the first 'OR' criteria or do you have to use the next line down?

RE: OR Query

Dear Chris

Thank you for attending Access courses. I hope you enjoyed the courses and are finding the topics covered during the training useful.

In Query Design View if you enter the criteria on the same line for multiple fields it becomes an AND query indicating that all the Criteria MUST be met before for the records to be displayed.

If you want OR query then you have to enter the criteria on the next line. This means that no two criteria should be on the same line unless you specifically want the records to meet those criteria!!

I hope this answers your query! If this has answered your question then may I please request you to mark this post as resolved!!

Many thanks

Kindest Regards
