RE: Action Queries

Dear Olyemisi

Thank you for attending Access Courses. I hope you enjoyed courses and have started to put them into practice.

Sammie who was in the same training has also asked teh same question. Therefore I am copying and pasting the response.

I am not sure it this is the definite answer but you can try this and I am confident that it will work

In the Job Title field in the Design View of the Query type the following:

* IT (Please note that there is a space between * and IT)
IT *
* IT * (Please note that there is space before and after IT)

This should be entered in the same line on the Job Title field.

Please try it and tell me if that helps you or not.

I hope this has helped in answering your query. If this has answered your question then may I please request you to mark this post as resolved!!

Many thanks

Kindest Regards

Access tip:

Create An Inaccessible Field On A Form

There is sometimes a need to make a field in a form look like a normal field but be completely inaccessible to the user. To do this:

In the Field's Properties
Set the ENABLED property to No
Set the LOCKED property to Yes

The field will not grey out, but the user will not be able to do anything with it.
